This is a picture of a naval ship leaving Coronado Island for deployment. This is what my view was from the Hyatt Hotel. It was awesome to see and you can't imagine how big these ships are.

This is the group of girls I was able to pal around with for the few days in San Diego. From L to R: Michelle from Canada, Tina, Me, Tanya from San Diego. The same week Tina and I were in San Diego, Tanya had her friend Michelle visit from Canada. We had such a good time together and have made new friendships! This picture was taken at a country western bar called "Inchoots!" I LOVED IT THERE! Lots of country line dancing. It was like TJ Rockwells gone country (if you know what TJ Rockwells is).
On Thursday we drove to Great Adventure theme park and spent the day riding rides and having fun. This is all of us with the characters from the theme park.
This is a scenery picture of CA at dusk at the top of the large roller coaster!
On Friday we drove to Hollywood!!! Of course it was awesome to see. This is in front of the Chinese Theater. Tina and I are with "Catwomen."
Here are the four of us with Johnny Depp from the Pirates of the Carribean. No its no really Johnny Depp, but sure did look like it!
Here is Hollywood Blvd and the stars! It looks just like I pictured it, stars everywhere! Tina and I admiring Patrick Swayze's star:)
And here is the famous Hollywood sign!
On Saturday we went to Pacific Beach. It is a surfer town like you would think it would be from the movies. Beach town for sure. It was a little overcast that day but we still had fun walking around and seeing the shops and boutiques as well as the beach.
This is Michelle and I shopping in PB. We walked onto the Pier so we could get an overview of the California beaches. Michelle and I had a great time together in CA. We have a great friendship from this trip and have been keeping in touch since we left CA. Hopefully she can visit PA sometime and Matt and I can take a trip to Canada :)
I wanted to put this picture on the blog because its so neat with the bird on the post. What I couldn't get over being in CA, is the fact that houses are built on the hillsides, no yards or nothing and they are on top of each other. This picture shows you just what I mean.
Here are Tina and I on a jetty along the coast of PB!
Here are the plam trees! I wish we had palm trees in PA :)
Here is San Diego at night time! It was so nice to see with all the city lights. We were on Coronado Island when I took this picture. The two tower buildings you see in the background is the hotel where we stayed for my business part of the trip earlier in the week.
Me with the city in the background on the last night in San Diego!
