Sorry its been a week since Labor Day but we have been really busy, so I just wanted to take a quick minute to update you with some pictures from our mountain weekend on Labor Day. The kids and I joined Nanny and Pappy and Aunt Cathy and Uncle Jere to the mts for a nice relaxing weekend. We had some great fun and it was fun as always! We did not go to the lake as we normally do, only because Makayla wouldn't be able to swim in the lake with her cast so we didn't think that was fair. So we did other fun things to make up for that time!
We decided on Sunday to take the kids to the East Broad Street Railroad for a train ride. They really liked that and it was nice to do something different as we spent our time.

Makayla and Mason are very excited!
This is how much Makayla enjoyed her ride. She saw maybe 5 minutes of the whole ride.

This was where Mason and Makayla spent a lot of time. It was their makeshift "sandbox", the horseshoe pit. It kept them very content!
On Sunday evening we had a campfire, as is our tradition in the mts. Here we are getting ready to start the smore making process and roasting hotdogs.
Mason was very excited to hand out his glow necklaces and bracelets to all of us. Here he is showing off his necklaces/bracelets. At one point it was so dark, he looked like a "alien" walking around.
