Last week on Wednesday, Makayla took a treat to school to celebrate her birthday with her preschool friends. We made Ice-Cream Cone cupcakes with sprinkles, which were a hit! Here she is after school, showing us one of her treats. 
Saturday October 4th was her actual birthday. She woke up at 6:45, bright and early, and very much excited. I gave her a big birthday kiss and she said "put me down mom." Of course I gave her an odd look and put her down as she wished. She turned to me and said "don't I look taller now that I am 4?" Oh that girl, some of the things she thinks of just crack me up. I like to give my kids a gift on their actual birthday and then another at the time of their parties.
