As most of you know, we are slowing starting the process of building a new house. The first step is drilling our wells. They have finally began the process and here is a picture of the "driller." We will have a total of 4 wells, 3 for a geo-thermal system and the other for regular use. Matt has been busy also starting the moving of dirt for the barn we will have on the property as well. It is exciting to report that we are moving forward. 
The first weekend of December, we attended the Mount Joy tree lighting. Below are Makayla and Mason petting the reindeer. They were able to meet and talk with Santa and Mrs Claus as well. Hopefully they were able to take notes for the elves in the north pole.
On Sunday the girls also had their next competition. Makayla did well and will have her next competition in January for Mini Nationals in Tennessee.
This past weekend Matt and I were able to get away to the mountains in Potter County for a long weekend. We were joined by Matt and Ani, and we had a great time. We left Thurs around 4pm and unfortunately hit bad weather, snow!!! It took us longer than expected but we arrived safely, unpacked, relaxed for about an hour but then headed off to bed since the men were getting up early to hunt. They awoke at 4:30 to more snow, while Ani and I were able to sleep in and just relax ALLDAY!! It was great. Below is a picture of the guys returning from the morning hunt.
They decided they were hungry and wanted to help Ani and I with breakfast.

The guys doing donuts on the 4 wheelers after returning from yet another unsuccessful hunting expedition. They had to come together and make a new plan for finding deer on Saturday.
Friday night after going out for dinner the guys took us on a 4 wheeler ride. It was freezing cold out so we bundled up good!!!
On Saturday while the guys were making one last effort to find a deer on the mountain (since they weren't able to find any), Ani and I decided to go 4 wheeling ourselves and maybe stir the deer up for the guys. This is Ani at the entrance to the cabin.
I took Ani down Hemlock Hollow and this was the view. It was GORGEOUS!!
