Adorable pictures~

Here are some of the cutest pictures of my nephew Bode. When looking back, he looks almost exactly like Mason did when he was born, although Bode is definitely a lot like his mom. They are all doing great and will be discharged home today. He is a very calm, laid back baby so far! Good luck to their first day at home:)

HE HAS ARRIVED!!!!!

Matt and I have become the proud aunt and uncle of baby boy Madara. Yesterday, Bode Kekai Madara entered into this world at 2:53pm at 8lbs 6oz and 21 inches long. He has coal black hair and looks exactly like Christy! HE IS ADORABLE!!! I am so proud of Michael and Christy. After a long 23+ hours of labor she was able to have a natural birth and avoided that c-section that all her doctors were predicting. Michael is such a proud dad, and is SOOOO proud of his wife! She did a great job. Enjoy the pictures. There will be more to come soon!!!!!

Well it has been awhile since I have updated our blog so I am taking the time to do it now. Everyone in our family is doing well. Matt is still busy with coaching wrestling and working extra hours. I of course am running like always from work, to the gym, to baton, etc.... but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Matthew is still working hard at school. He just joined the chorus and the drama club for the spring. Yesterday was his audition for the "young Martin Lurther King" so we will see how it goes. He says he did good and really gave a good performance. He is very excited! Matthew has also started his hormone shots (about every 2 weeks) and even though he is SCARED TO DEATH of needles he is doing well. Mommy is giving the shots, so maybe that is helping. We actually think he is growing!!!!
Mason is still Mason, going to preschool 3 days a week and playing! He has it easy. We just signed up for Kindergarten registration so he will being doing that in a week or 2. It is amazing to think that he is going to be going to the "big school."
Makayla is as busy as ever. She is still twirling baton, and is doing great at it. She seems to have taken the leader role on the Teenie Weenie Team (surprise, surprise). She recently had a competition and did pretty well. Each time she gets better. Her next one is in March so hopefully I will have pictures to show. We recently signed Makayla up for preschool. She had her open house last week and all ready is talking about going to school and she can't wait to be with Mrs. Brubaker. I warned Mrs Brubaker already about her!!! (ha, ha) She is a great little girl, usually happy and always singing but she is very busy, so you have to sometimes put her in her place. She forgets she is only 3!!!
The latest news, Matt and I are still NOT an aunt and uncle. Yes, Christy and Michael have yet to bring baby Nalu here to meet us. She is VERY pregnant but hanging in there and doing well. They will be inducing Christy on Tuesday Feb. 26th (her due date) if baby Nalu decides not to join our family sooner. I just can't wait to meet Nalu. You know me and babies, I LOVE THEM! (Guess that is why I have 3) Keep Christy and Michael in your thoughts and prayers as it will be a tiring week for both of them. We love you! Check back and I will be sure to have a picture of baby Nalu, hopefully soon!
As for now, take care and happy days to come!
