HaPpY BiRtHdAy!!!!!!

I am officially a mom of a teenager! 13 years ago today, Matthew entered this world. As we all know it didn't come easy and there were many weeks of tears, nerves of the not knowing, and then he was all fixed up by the caring hands at SJH and Hershey. What a joy he is to have as a son, so caring, loving, warm-hearted, free-spirited and intelligent young man he is! I couldn't have asked for this to turn out any other way! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW, hope you enjoy being 13!

WE ARE.....PENN STATE!!!

My first trip to Penn State, what a great day! We went to the cabin Friday night and headed right to bed. Woke up and on our way to PSU. Arrived about 9am and went to the Bryce Jordan Center to see the band's pregame show. It was great to see Kelsey with the Blue Band. Here is Matthew inside the Jordan all ready for his day at PSU!
Visiting with Kelsey before she marches over to the stadium. Weather was holding out for us, no rain but it was cold!

And game time. Great game, PSU killed them. It was amazing to be there, the fans were great and I would go back anyday! Mom and I had the seats way up but they were great to see the band performance. Below is one of the positions the band did during their show, "ROCKY." See the two guys boxing???

Matthew and I after the game. We tailgated with the Garner's which I felt right at home, a lot like tailgating at the races!

On our way home. Can't wait to go back and sure do hope Matthew goes there someday. I could definitely get into going and cheering on the Nittany Lions!

Makayla's 5th Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BABY GIRL!!! SHE IS 5 :)
I know she isn't a baby anymore but she is the last of my kids so she is my baby, although now she is 5. Where does the time goes??? Everyday she does new things, says new things, and just shows how special she is. I know, I know, sometimes Miss Makayla can hold her own and tend to push my buttons a bit but she is such a special little girl and I am so happy to be her mom!
She had a great birthday. We took her friends to Build A Bear and then back to our house for some playtime, snacks, and ice cream cake! Enjoy the pictures of her special day. By the way per Makayla she is now as tall as Mason because she is 5!!!!

Another Potter Weekend.....

We headed out on Thurs evening for a weekend of fun again with the Buckius family to Potter County. This was the first time visit for the Buckius family, and guess what they want to come back! They had a great time, as we did too. We did lots of four wheeling, playing games, and enjoying each others company. It was quite cold up there so we had to do some bundling up to four wheeling but we were still able to enjoy it!
Ryan and Makayla on the first ride Matthew and Brandon
Mason ready, of course!

Heading out, Aunt Hope is loving it already! Only 2 more days of riding to go!

The older boys Matthew and Ryan were able to ride by themselves on the four wheeler. They thought that was great. Here they are thinking they are cool :)
Aunt Hope ready to go again!
Took the Buckius's to the famous Big Foot place in the woods. Famous kids picture we take with anyone we take there for the first time!
My silly girl
This was on Saturday, and burrrrr it was cold. We had to dig out the Ober's gear to stay warm.

The famous "red ball hats" that Ryan and Mason enjoyed wearing. The little ones getting a ride in the bucket

Helping Daddy stacking wood. Uncle Scott was missing his gym time, so he asked for some physical labor work to do. Never had that asked at the mts before?????
Since Matt doesn't like to play games with the adults, the kids begged him to play with them. He isn't that good at Memory either!!!!
After a weekend of four wheeling, and games, they just couldn't last anymore.
And Matthew well, he couldn't even stay awake to watch his pathetic PSU Nittany Lions loss to Iowa. He was bummed!

Baseball, Baseball

We decided to take a bus trip with the Buckius family to a Orioles vs Red Soxes game in Baltimore. It would be the first professional game for the boys, and it was great! A hot day in Baltimore it was, but it was great. The boys loved it! Enjoy some of our pics from the day!
The boys strolling around Baltimore waiting to head to the stadium. Ryan, Brandon, Mason & Matthew

We had awesome seats, right beside the bullpen. We were able to see the pitchers and catchers up close which was great for the boys.

Enjoying the game before heading to seats that were out of the sun. The little guys got hot so we found them seats in the shade for the remainder of the game.
Matthew and I lasted in the heat. I know I had to wear Uncle Scott's Pirates hat, it got too hot!
Enjoying drinks after the game at the ESPNZone before heading home. What a great day :)
